Learning Log 1
The lesson was fun and interesting!
However, I was hoping that teacher
can allow us to explore more about
Cinquain. Also to read
more about Cinquain using other people's
poem as refrence.
I learned that the start of the Cinquain is the
title, or topic you want to write, the second
line explains about the object, the third is
the fuction of the object.The fourth
one is using four words to explain the object
The last line is to use a word to
represent the object.
Example:
Books
Thick or thin
Reading, Thinking, Learning
Learning every moment
Lovely
TADA! This is my original poem I have
created! Also, this shows my understanding of
Cinquain! Also, Cinquain, in my opinion is
used to describe generals things! =]

Learning Log 2
Well, the lesson on superstitions is a good way
to learn about other people culture. From my point of view,
different culture and religion has different kinds of
superstitions. Example, a Chinese superstition may be, don’t
pick up things on the floor as it might belong to the
"Hao Xiong Di". A Malay superstition may be,
if a lady sings while cooking, she will be destined to marry an old man.
However, some people choose not to believe these kinds
of superstitions stuff, although one can chose whether or not to
believe, it’s better to be save than sorry!
MACBeth!
I think it is a very fun topic
that we can work on.
We can learn how to act and
learn how to speak Shakespeare’s language!
Well, I think because we people are shy, and
we are scared we will do it wrongly, if we do
it individually.
That' why we always don’t want to come
out to present school work. I am not saying that I want more
show and tell chances, but to emphasis on more group
presentation therefore we can speak out more than
if we do it individually. Don’t teacher realise we like
group work?
As a point from a student, we will like group work
because there is more brain juices and if we
present together as a group, we will get
more courage as your friends are beside you reading or
presenting the same thing.
Also, if you do it wrongly, first, no one will notice as
it blends into the group. Second, you won’t be failing as
a team and not an indiviual! =D Third, you wont be the only
person laughed at! =]
That’s three reasons why I like group work.
I don know about others but this is my
point of view.
But lastly, the three witches are horribly scary...
